Camp Cronin Sunset Vista
It’s not often one gets to see the sunset over the ocean on the east coast but at Camp Cronin Park, you won’t want to miss the opportunity. Bring a coozy for that non alcoholic beverage, a blanket for the wind and bug spray to fully enjoy this Narragansett gem at sunset. And if you like to fish, this is the place!
Black Point Hiking & Fishing Area
Another total hidden gem that offers a serene coastal hike to Black Point. This is a beginner friendly hike you can do in your crocs or flip flops but gets a little steep in some areas. Bring your rod and cast away but please read the signs as this area has claimed a few lives over the years due to a dangerous current.

Narragansett Beach
It’s hard to skip this one especially if you like long walks and don’t mind big crowds. The waves can get pretty big here but it is totally kid friendly. There is plenty of place to spread out if you venture north! Check out the Warm Winds Live Surf Cam of Narragansett Beach!
Galilee Seafood and Harbor
The Port of Galilee offers fresh lobsters which can be purchased right off the docks. If buying live aquatic animals and boiling them is not your idea of fun, head over to George’s with the family for a classic tried and true Rhody offering. If you’re feeling adventurous, head over to Block Island for a day or hop on a fishing charter boat! PRO TIP – bring Dramamine if you’re prone to seasickness.

Boon Street Stroll and Market
Need a gift or souvenir? Shop local art at the One Way Gallery or pop on over to the other galleries to support local artists. Looking for a unique restaurant and entertainment spot? Try the hot new Boon Street Market where the variety of food offerings are sure to please and the Red Sox game will always be on. You might also catch a cover of Wagon Wheel on the acoustic guitar while you’re chomping on your smash burger or slurping down ramen.
South County Bike Path
A calm and smooth 16 mile round trip bike ride that is surely a local favorite. Cruise under bridges, through the rustic town of Wakefield and alongside wetlands in this beginner friendly bike excursion. Click here for more info about the South County Bike Path.

The Narragansett Towers at the Coast Guard House
This historic landmark has survived many hurricanes and drunken bridesmaids in the upscale ball room. The towers are nicely lit up at night much like the visitors who frequent this busy attraction. Be sure to rev your motorcycle engine as you pass under the towers since that has never been done before.
