Drawing to Discover
Drawing to Discover is specifically designed for beginners or experienced artists who need a refresh in the basics of drawing. We will begin by focusing on composition and value while honing our powers of observation to create realistic drawings that have that “wow” factor. We will break down why beginners struggle with drawing, how to overcome the “I can’t draw” blues and how to switch into the right-brain “talent” zone. As we move forward, we will develop best practices for achieving consistent growth. Finally, we will end with a finished portrait, still life or landscape at the end of the 6 week course. This course is highly recommended as a prerequisite for our painting courses.
